Friday 8/1 pt arena to Duncan mills 60 miles. Where we'll sleep tonight. Mellow ride 60 mile rolling hills thru small northern California. Ate at fort ross next to the Russian river. Cool foggy all day had visor on all day. Riding inland Tomorrow to base at mill valley about 70+ miles.

Thursday 7/31 in ft Bragg to point arena. Ate good ate at north coast brewery tap house. Chowder, burger, fries,2 craft beer a bonk, and a Russian imperial.

Last it was a chorus of snoring! Baby bear off and on , mama bear only at bedtime. Papa bear every couple of hours. Very cool foggy AM.

Wednesday 7/30 hot clear blue sky of stone villa resort. Leggett to fort Bragg

Burritos for dinner ate 2 last night. Had clean up duty.  Breakfast set today. Rode uphill uphill for 2 hours in the hot morning . Got over leggett hill down to Pacific Ocean. Ate lunch in Westport. Rode with john to fort Bragg. Went to community center to shower and on way back to church? Laundry. Maybe a beer run but my group is doing dinner so maybe after ?

7/29 Tuesday rode past standish hickey campground they could not guaranty they would be open with water drama. Rode 60 miles inland away from the cool temp to the inland heat. Large water bottle came in handy. Used them as a shower every 5 minutes. 118 off asphalt. Started at 830a ended at 630p. Stopped twice for ice cream. Bought hippie bracelets now I have 3 new ones. Swam in the eel river about 1. In about a foot of water, felt great. Lasted about 30 minutes then all dry . Back to the water bottles. A lot of up hills. More tomorrow. Climbing up leggett hill the to coast and cool temp And fog.
